VMS vs CRM: which do you need?
If you buy through vendors or hire contingent labour, you need a VMS. If you sell to customers, you need a CRM. Using one tool for both is how the spreadsheet comes back.
| VMS | CRM / business OS | |
|---|---|---|
| Who it is about | Suppliers, vendors, contractors | Customers, leads, deals |
| Typical objects | Requisitions, SOWs, timesheets, invoices | Contacts, pipeline, inventory, payments |
| Aarohii product | Auvora | Captverse |

Choose a VMS when
Demand starts as a requisition. Work is awarded to a supplier. Time or deliverables must match a SOW. Finance needs the invoice to match that record. That is vendor management and procurement.
Choose a CRM / business OS when
You need one workspace for CRM, sales, stock, collections, and agents. That is Captverse. Real estate is a strong use case—not the only one.
You may need both
Many operators sell with a CRM and buy with a VMS. Aarohii ships both as separate products so neither job is forced into the wrong object model.
